I haz a question. Are we starting new threads after so many pages?
I honestly don't see a point to it.

Are you talking about the rp ideas board and the actual roleplaying board?

If so then there is a point to them.

For the rp ideas it's for people who have ideas but need to flesh them out, or perhaps they want to see how popular it would be before putting it up on the stie and having it crash.

Then once all details are hashed out the roleplay is put up under teh correct board.

Yes it may clutter up the site a bit, however, I find it quite helpful and i'm sure other users do as well. And quite a lot of peolpe have posted a lot of ideas in the first thread that Vi made so they're just adding to that right now, not putting up their own thread.

Q&A of RPing Empty Re: Q&A of RPing

I believe she's referring to new threads after an rp reaches 200 hundred pages or whatever, which I agree is slightly annoying because you lose all your story and for those that want to start something new, but with the same characters, my suggestion is make a closed thread with someone so that others don't lose the long story that's been typed out over so long.

If I'm wrong in what you're thinking Oli, let me know. XD

That's up in the air really. If you want to make a new thread after 200 pages then go at it. But it's not mandatory at all. But I think the reason people make a new thread on Mibba is because after so many pages you can no longer edit the first post with all the character names. Which makes people just start a new one so they can be able to add in new characters.

On here, it's not required to make a new thread after 200 pages but it's not frowned upon.

Yeah, that's what I meant. XD I wasn't trying to attack the idea thread, don't worry. I think it's a good idea, actually.

But Mel, you lost me a bit at the part where it says- closed RP.

A thread between certain people, example Joe and Sally decide they want to RP together, but just them. They'd create a thread that was closed, that only they posted on. Understand?
