Just a Personal Note

So, I was tipped off that several people on here were worried about me coming on the site and I was told why. I'm not going to name any names and said person didn't give me any specific names, so no worries.

I just want to apologise if I come off as rude or bitchy. I really don't try to be and I'm truly sorry if I come across that way. I just have this issue that basically tells me that I need to correct people. And to be honest, it probably won't go away, but I can always learn to be nicer about it. I'm sorry to any of you if I came off as bitchy, or if in fact, I was being a bitch. I don't mean to be rude at all and I love you all.

I asked Vi to take me off as editor (The Grammar Nazi ), because even though I've always wanted to be an editor and I always loved the thought, I wasn't going to be all right with it if it made others uneasy.

And now, I'm sort of asking you as the people, that if I promise to try and be nicer about it (and perhaps a bit less anal- I got a rule sheet), I can continue (or start again) being an editor.

If any of you are still not friendly with the thought of it, don't hesitate to tell me.
Also, if you want to tell me you were one of the ones who told her (and by no means am I telling you to), I wouldn't mind and you won't be bitched at by me for it.

Again, I'm sorry to you all.

I have no issue with Oli being editor. Oli, your someone I've come to admire over the months of knowing you. While we don't always like to hear what we've done wrong, sometimes it is needed. Because when if we know we did something wrong and we know that we can fix it and how to fix it, it does better ourselves. So personally, I think editor's a good role for you, Oli.

Thank you, Mel. I just want people to be okay with it, you know? I know I can sometimes be a pest about it.

Nah, I don't have a problem with it either.

And like Mel said about doing something wrong or making a mistake, everyone makes them and it's better to be acknowledged of that mistake than to do it repeatedly so basically like I said before, I have no problem with you being editor.
