She sighed and closed her eyes, "Why do I bother to be kind to you?" She took a deep breath, "Right so any chance that I can force you to go?"

He looked at her, his facial expression everybit sardonic. "What do you think, sugar?"

She sighed, "I feared as much. I'm much to small to physically force you." She said as she thought about what she could do.

"I'll be fine." He said defiantly. "Go get yourself a firearm, kay?"

She nodded and walked out of his and towards her own. When she was there she holstered up then headed back to his office.

"Think we should tail your brother before we send Drake in?" He asked, trying to hide his reaction to the still present pain.

"Yes." She answered knowing that if she said no he'd still want to tail him.

“Your car?” He asked, praying she’d say yes.

"Of course." She said with a smile. She then lead the way out of his office and down the corridor.

He followed slowly, his mind wandering. He pulled his jacket on and covered his gun.

"After tailing my brother where else did you have in mind?" She asked, trying to make small talk.

"You got any suggestions?" He asked as he studied her.

She shrugged, "We could tail that brat for a bit, if you want." She suggested.

He smirked at her. "You have a real screwed up idea of a date."

She stopped and looked at him, "You have a real screwed way of asking me." She said with a smirk.

"You were the one who asked me by inviting yourself along." he retorted childishly.

She laughed and started walking again, "I didn't ask to come along so we can have a date. Plus you don't generally swing for younger women, remember?" She said as they stepped outside.

"What's to say this is a general case?" He asked, he felt his knee twinge again but managed to mask the small pain.

She raised an eyebrow at him, "You are a confusing man. So are you trying to say that this could be a case where you'd swing for a younger woman?" She asked leading them towards her car now.

"I'm trying to be mysterious." He explained. "I thought you young ones dig elusive men?"

She laughed, "I think you've been reading too many cosmo magazines." She said jokingly. "But I'll admit I like mysterious, its what attracted me to you in first place. You are the ultimate at being mysterious."

"I did make a career out of it." He said smugly.

She laughed, "I can see." She said as they got to her car. She unlocked it and got in the drivers side.

He got in the passenger side and closed the door behind him. "Think Drake can handle your brother when it comes to it?"

"Honestly, no." She admitted starting up the car. "But you have my brother's one weakness; me." She said as she pulled out of the parking space.
