I am thinking about adding a feature for stories. Is this too Mibba or something you want?

I think if you were to do that, have it as only original fiction? Otherwise, it will get too similar to Mibba.

That woudl actually be a much better way of doing it.

There are way too many fanfics on Mibb, it's kinda putting me off reading any stories because you have to trawl through them all to get to anything half decent.

Yeah, that's true. I hardly ever find anything decent, apart from a few author's stories that I love dearly.

Plus I don't really read fan fics, so... -Shrugs-

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I mean, historical fiction, etc, I would love more of, just anything without celebrities, however contradictory that makes me of myself.

Yes no fanfiction of any kind, just original fiction...thgou hwould Waht IFs be consisdered fanfiction since it's a re-tell of BEauty and the Beast?

I don't think so, Mazzi. It isn't directly stealing anything, you know? Obvious plot, characters, etc. I think you should be fine.

Thanks for all the input. I still have to figure out a way for it to be added. But I'm not sure I really want to ya know? I think that's what makes Mibba so bombarded. I mean I love idea of stories and such but I also hear that posting your stories online makes it less likely that it will be signed to a book deal because its out there already. I think that's why I lose creativity when I post a story on Mibba. Plus, if I do the story thing, everyone will have to be perfect grammar. Your story would have to be approved by a mod/editor before it's posted. I want to better everyone's writing if I can.

I think if you do decide to have a story section it should be soley original fiction, perhaps the mod/editor can just edit, allowing for the story to still be posted if the author is satisfied and acceptable to the suggestions/edit. I think that would set it apart from Mibba, instead of just being a site to get your work out there and read, it'll help the authors.

Perhaps stories could be read by about two mod/editors, just to get a larger overview as well as give more oppurtunity to point out mistakes that need to be fixed, not to annoy/bother the person, but to help, because I know sometimes things need to be looked at by more than one person because person A doesn't always catch what person B does.

Honestly, I think it shouldn't be put in at all.

A reason I love this site is mainly that it is for RPing only and I can proudly call it so. I don't suppose I'd leave because of a story section, but I think that so many other things can be produced and worked on that will be way more beneficial. I like having a site solely for RPing and a bit of discussion here and there.

I agree with Oli. I think that the appeal of this site is it doesn't over complicate by trying to multi-task. I suppose if you wanted to have a specialist section for one on one RPs, that'd be better, and kind of like stories.
