Under The Dome | Started

Right then, I'm jsut finding my img codes and then we'll start. The dome isn't down when this starts but the disease is in the town

Erik looked at the mucus in the tissue before screwing it up and tossing it into the bin. Damn summer cold… he thought bitterly as he stepped inside the small supermarket.



Jensen smiled at his boss. “I can have the afternoon off then?” When Darnell nodded Jensen grinned and popped the greasy wrench on top of the toolbox. “Cheers, Mr Darnell.” He called as he walked out of the garage, still in his oil stained overalls.

Belle drove into town with a smile on her face. The sun was out, she'd pulled the top down on her new bug and the wind was tossing her rich brown hair all over the place but she loved it. She'd recently bought a pair of vintage sunglasses and, she didn't mean to blow her own trumpet, she looked hot. She turned her radio up and let the thrill of returning home after exams course through her.

Sniffing as he went, Erik moved around picking up his weekly groceries.



Happy with the fact he’d been let off early with a full days pay in his pocket, Jensen walked slowly down the street, wondering if he could find someone he knew.

Belle turned off the main road heading to the housing estates beeping at people she recognised and waving, still with the smile on her face.

He looked up at the sky, frowning to himself, it looked like it was going to rain.

Belle sang softly along with the radio under her breath and smled as she saw an old friend staring up at the sky, she glanced behind her and seeing that she was the only car on the road at the moment she slowed to a crawl.

"Nice view up there is it?" She called out to Jensen, still in his work uniform.

He turned and looked at Belle. “Looks like it’ll rain in a bit.” He said, nodding at the black sky.

Belle glanced up.

"But it's so sunny, maybe we'll get a rinabow." She smiled.

“That doesn’t make up for the rain.” He stuck his hands in his pockets.

Belle chuckled.

"Sure it does, don't be so pessimistic." She scolded him gently. "You heading home?"

“After I’ve popped to the store.” He glanced skywards again. “I need to pick dinner up.”

Belle nodded and glanced at the time, the traffic had been good so she was earlier than expected.

"You want a lift?" She asked.

“I’d normally say yes but…” He looked down at his greasy overalls.

Belle pursed her lips slightly then remembered what she had in the boot.

"If you open up the boot there's an old rug on top, put that over the seat, i could do with getting mum some flowers anyway." She smiled.

“You sure?” He asked, feeling like he was taking the piss a bit.

Belle nodded.

"Sure, I don't mind Jensen, honestly." She grinned popping the boot open from the front. "Grab the rug and take a seat. You don't wanna be caught out in hte rain do ya?"

“I guess not.” He smiled and did as she said. Once he was seated he thanked her.

Belle grinned and turned the radio down a bit.

"Hey it's no problem, what're friends for and all that." She said, pulling way from the curb and making a quick loop back to town.

"So what's been happening lately?" She asked.

“Not much really. Just working for Darnell.” He shrugged. “My life is pretty boring.”

Belle chuckled.

"So nothing's been ahppening? There's no gossip or scandal whatsoever? Not in your life or in the whole town?" She probed.

“That crazy artist guy crashed his car into a house last week. That’s literally the only thing I’ve heard of.” He scratched his chin, it was stubbly, he needed to remember to shave.
