They brought her into the OR and put her under. When she woke back up she was in a different room. They asked if she wanted to hold the baby but she couldn't bare it. She knew if she looked at the baby, it would scar her for life. Not that this wasn't already going to.

Chris couldn't feel anything. He needed to feel something, his body was shaking and he couldn't control it.

Marissa laid on her side and cried. She didn't know how life would go on after this. She could feel her emotions becoming numb. She was ready to go home. She wanted to sleep and hope that when she woke it was all just a dream.
