Re: A Century
Asema had grabbed a few articles of clothing, though found it hard to shop. There weren't too many clothes she liked. There was a difference between what she liked when wearing skimpy clothes and what they liked.
She found him, clothes in her arm and smirked softly. She could instantly see the armour. "Aluraune," she sighed, mocking disappointment. "Must I actually tell you to take off the armour?"

He growled lowly, folding his arms over his chest.
"It stays on. I have not survived all of these years with no tactics, Asema. It stays."

Asema gave a soft sigh, now truly disappointed, but understanding. "You don't have to change, it was a suggestion," she told him, referring to the clothing he wore over the armour. She suddenly felt horrible for making him.
She padded off into the direction she had gotten her previous clothes from, putting them back easily. Perhaps they had a place around where she could find the dresses she favoured.

Re: A Century
He sighed again, not wanting to disappoint her, moving towards the racks of clothing and finding a size or two bigger in each article she had given him, going back to the dressing room and changing, checking in the mirror, now satisfied the clothing stayed perfectly against the armor, showing nothing beneath
He came back to her side, feeling slightly embarrassed as he realized he wanted to please her.
Looking at her, a bit shyly, he mumbled.
"Does this better suit me?"

Asema turned upon hearing his voice. She laughed and shook her head, feeling that he seemed like a giant. "Just... simply cover the armour," she said quietly, smiling up at him. "And then, when you're finished, stay here and tell me what looks fine on me, hm? I cannot honestly find anything that I'm too pleased with."
She wondered if there was a Victorian store anywhere near.

Re: A Century
He looked down at his too large clothing and decided he would simply by a new robe, maybe one of the trench coats he had seen, darting back and tossing the clothes away as he caught one of the fairly long robes and slipping it on, feeling back in his comfort zone.
Moving to her side, feeling more at ease in his new robe, he nodded.
"Then let us go."

"Well, I was going to-..." she started upon seeing his new robe but just shook her head and smiled. She would find clothes eventually. There had to be something at least close to her taste in clothing.

Re: A Century
He smiled back at her, feeling a bit more confident in something less worn, moving to the door and holding it open for her.
"Come Asema. The day is still long; I am sure we shall find something to suit you."

Asema tilted her head and smiled, bowing slightly as she exited. She felt rather odd, remembering how not but a while ago, she had no manners at all. She glanced around, wasting no time in finding a store that seemed to suit her needs. She beamed, like a kid in a candy shop, and all the gorgeous, dark, Victorian dresses.

He followed behind her, finding it harder and harder to stay away from her, already having a good sense of how the day might end.
Aluraune watched her move through the aisles, finding her smile contagious, keeping a good distance.

Asema grazed through the dresses, smiling. She was in a near heaven. This time, she wanted something short though, something she wasn't used to. After about two minutes of browsing, she found three which she liked enough. She then held the three up and asked his opinion with a small smile.

He looks the over silently, trying not to picture her in them just yet, before pointing to the second one, the one with both black and read, mumbling quietly. "I believe that one suits you."

Asema glanced at it, then smiled, tilting her head. She skipped off to the dressing room, slipping on the dress. It did hardly cover much of her body, though she liked how seemingly free it felt. She slipped on a pair of shoes that she found fit, smiling and pressing down the dress as she stepped out of the dressing room.

Re: A Century
Aluraune looked up from the folds of his robe, idly toying with them, and immediately stopped, eyes blinking at the sight of her.
"It...ah, it looks...good, Asema."
He was at a complete loss for words.

"Yeah?" she asked, beaming up at him. She rather loved shopping, especially in such a place. She jumped up, the combination of being so light on her feet and in the new shoes which were highly comfortable and light, making the landing hardly noticeable.
She pulled the other two dresses back, deciding she ought to get them as well. Who knew how much blood she would be getting on any of her clothes.
She stepped out of the store with a shopping bag in hand, smiling. She had actually paid for the clothing, though stolen the money she used to pay for it with. She felt somewhat accomplished, though and went behind the building only to change back into the dress that Aluraune had selected.

Re: A Century
He kept his eyes on the corner she had disappeared around, not disappointed when she came back in the dress he had picked. He could not help openly admiring her in it, though he kept his thoughts from wandering far.
"You look...fantastic, Asema. It was a good choice."

Asema grinned very softly, seeming to be a smile if her eyes didn't contain that hint of deviousness. "Thank you," she said, smiling as she smoothed it once more, then looked at him. "It's honestly a bit shorter than I intended, but I like it.
As she looked at him, she studied him, concluding finally that she couldn't see him in any other clothing and not find it odd.

Re: A Century
He shuffled his feet a bit, not put off much by the problem she seemed to be having with the length of the dress; he thought it suited her perfectly.
After realizing he was staring, he half-turned to start walking again.
"We should..go, wherever it is we are going, no?"

Asema giggled softly and put her lace-gloved fingers on his arm. "Relax," she said, smiling up at him, her eyes closed and the smile wide.
After pulling away she made a face. "Where are we going?"

Aluraune shook himself off, the feeling of the lace sending a shudder though his body that was hard to ignore,
"Going?...I have not the slightest. I had hoped you would know."
He turned away, trying to hide his emotions again.

She frowned, her mind not at all set on his, but for somewhere to go. "We could crash a fancy party?" she suggested, smiling at him. "Or one that's not so fancy."

Although she could not see it, he smiled, nodding his consent, still facing the opposite way. It sounded like the perfect way to lose himself in other scents, before Asema's drove him farther then he planned.
"That sounds perfect, actually."

Asema beamed and grabbed his hand, taking off without warning at speeds only a known vehicle could possibly go. In seconds, she was at the nearest party. It was full of teenagers with alcohol and drugs. She grinned a bit, though, finding it hilarious how times had changed.

Aluraune blinked, the scents around him putting him off again, amazed at what the phrase 'party' meant now.
He shuffled uneasily, shifting a bit closer to Asema unconsciously, waiting for her cue.

Asema entered, hearing a few immediate wolf whistles when she did. She smiled, a stone expression of seeming happiness was she walked in passed everyone, plopping herself gently on a couch with others on it as well.
She was pleased to know it was a dress up party, almost like a Halloween one.
