A Century

She smiled a bit and found her place in front of him, her eyes closing as she leaned in to press a soft kiss to his lips.

Aluraune took the kiss, easing into it, pulling her in close and down by his side.

Asema made a soft noise, but none-the-less, advanced happily, smiling into the soft kiss.

Aluraune moved a hand up to gently cup her face, tilting her head so he could easily deepen the kiss.

Asema didn't bother to move, but instead let her hands drop to her side and dangle, feeling as if she couldn't do anything to measure up to him if she moved.

Aluraune timidly brought his arm around her waist, letting his fingers rest on her opposite side. Gripping her very lightly, he brought her in nearer, breathing her in slowly.

Asema broke the kiss at the touch to let out a soft breath and pressed into him as a response. She stared up at him, her eyes soft and her guard completely down.

He smiled down at her warmly, his eyes searching hers. Aluraune was not practiced at such close contacts, and felt slightly awkward as he thought of what to do.

"Asema...I..." His voice trailed off, his lips working soundlessly.

Asema's expression almost immediately changed to worried. "Wh-What..? You, what?" she asked, reaching a hand up and placing her stone, petite fingers on his cheek.

He laughed softly, almost shyly, tilting his face into her hand. He may not have known how to carry things on with Asema, but one thing he did know was that he didn't want to move away from her touch.

"I..." He gave up any attempts at speech, instead leaning down and kissing her firmly on the lips.

Asema made a gentle noise, then smiled into the kiss, her hand placing itself firmly on his cheek. Each feeling was amazing for her.

He allowed himself to pull back again, finally finding the voice he needed.

"I...love you, Asema."

Asema's breath instantly caught in her throat and she searched through his eyes. "I..." she said quietly. Though now, it didn't feel wrong to say. "I love you as well, Aluraune..."

Aluraune smiled, genuinely smiled, as he heard the words that he hadn't heard for such a long time.

Without further words, he leaned in and kissed her passionately, locking his arms around her waist.

Asema smiled to match his, then let out a small breath, it being cut off as their lips pressed together. The cloth against his skin instead of the armour felt nice, how it slid against her skin and his lanky frame.

Aluraune gathered her into his arms, his hands easily lifting her hips farther up his body. His thoughts were a blur now that he no longer needed to question the thoughts on Asema's mind, and he gave himself over to her completely.

Asema felt a sudden relief when she was lifted off her feet and leaned into him in return with a large smile. She kept her hand at his face for a moment before letting it drop to his shoulder.

Aluraune inched his lips away from hers slowly, just enough to allow him to speak.

"Asema...I cannot think clearly...you are clouding my mind...even as we speak."

He let his lips brush lightly over hers, his breathing now becoming audible, still fairly slow.

Asema's eyes slowly opened, then closed again. She didn't bother with speech, though she opened her mouth as if she were to say something.

Aluraune breathed slowly against her lips, his eyes closing again, unsure of how to continue.

Asema eagerly attached their lips again, a hand cupping his jawline and forcing herself to rise to her knees.

Aluraune stretched, looking around him groggily

Asema's eyes closed again and she smiled as she turned on her side. She had been lying down and only watching Aluraune, but had to at least appear to be resting.

He smiled. eyeing her quietly. He enjoyed the feeling, knowing that she had been guarding his skeep.

Asema licked her lips as she propped herself up on her elbow. "I suspect you know I'm fully aware and alert, then?" she asked with a grin, leaning forward a bit. She's take any chance she had to get him out of his armour, especially if that meant she had to delay his "morning" routine a bit longer.
